WHere did JHS come from?
JHS Field Hockey Club....
As previously mentioned in the "About Us" section of our site, part of the JHS mission is to create and uphold a love for the game- especially with in our field hockey family. The Field Hockey community is big, but also small, meaning everyone knows everyone and everyone cares for everyone. That aspect of the FH community, is something our owner, Emma, learned at a very young age. Emma's love for field hockey all started with her late grandfather, James Howard Snyder (JHS). Emma's "Pap" always encouraged her to get out of her comfort zone, and to play with heart and passion. This undying support Emma's Pap gave her is the reason she coaches, and started so many programs. Emma's mission is to give all young women in the field hockey community the support and experience she had growing up.
In appreciation for all the support and love Emma's Pap always gave her, she names the club after him.
